Everyone has heard the saying practice makes perfect . It is impossible to learn something without doing it . Everyone is good at something whether its a sport , school , or any other type of skill . You need to try new things in order to learn new things . No one has limits to  knowledge we can learn anything we want to if we put our minds to it and are determined for it . Everyone is capable for success in life and there is no doubt about it . We can all accomplish great things if we really tried and worked so hard until we gained achievement . I want to accomplish a lot with my career and I am determined and will not give up until all my hard work has payed off. Success to me is when you work so hard for something you want and give ll you time and determination for it until you finally obtain what you have worked so hard for . There is no doubt in my mind if someone really wants something they will get it but first comes the sacrifice for it .

Emergency Medical Technician

A Emergency medical technician provides immediately on the scene medical care for patients that have been injured. Often times an emergency medical technician will work in an ambulance , clinics , hospitals , or emergency rooms .

Duties and Responsibilities : They must be able to control bleeding , splinting broken bones , and know how to use an automated defibrillators. They also will evaluate medical records and provide blood transfusion.

A few responsibilities are knowing cardiac monitoring , administering IV treatment and performing advanced airway techniques.

Salary : $31,7000

Education :  You must complete a certificate program in emergency medical technician training .  Must get a state license , also have hours of an emergency medical response , must have EMT training

Demand of profession : Emergency Medical responder 40 hours of training , EMT 110 hours of training , Advanced EMT  200-400 hours of training , paramedic more than 1,00 hours of training

Reflection : I learned so many different things about this profession as an EMT . There are a wide variety of duties and responsibilities within this profession . In my honest opinion I would not like to study this as a career because I want to major in criminology and that is a dream of mine that I will make true by hard work and determination .

Ear nose and throat doctor

An ear nose and throat doctor is referred to as a Otolaryngologist. A Otolaryngologist are physicians that work in the surgical and medical field . They treat diseases and disorders of the eyes , ears , and the throat and other similar structures related to the head , face and the neck. They are mainly known as the ENT .

Duties and Responsibilities: Their duties would be to perform examinations and tests , they will often run these kinds of test just for a checkup to make sure your not having any problems . Certain tests for allergens , infections , and cancers . They will assign you specific medication if needed or recommended .

Salary :  $291,943 - $ 400,295 a year

Education : Undergraduate degree for 4 years

                  Medical degree 4 years

      Residency training or an optional fellowship training

Demand for profession : Certification and license

                                   Must obtain a medical degree

Reflection : In my opinion I would not like to work in this field , I am interested in working in the criminology field as a criminal investigator. What fascinates me is not medicine or working as a doctor but I am going to do is become a criminal investigator and study in the criminology field and obtain my masters .

This quote inspires me to be the successful person  I chose to be . Everyone determines what they want to be in life and I chose to be great . When it comes to school and getting my work done I am really determined and motivated. I let nothing interfere between my school and my life outside of school . I believe anyone can do great things it all depends if you are willing to try your hardest . I don't believe anyone is incapable of being successful. When you chose the right you make good decisions that take you to great places . When you chose the wrong you will make terrible decisions . Others will see how great your doing by choosing the right and that will motivate them to become better . Once they see how happy you are by choosing the right they are going to want to follow the same path into doing the right just like you .

When someone follows and obeys the rules they will get a good out come . Being Obedient is not just a  benefit to others but a  benefit to you as well . In my opinion I see great successful outcomes when doing the right thing rather than disobeying and choosing to do the wrong . It is a great feeling  when you do the right thing and you get a good outcome out of what you have done . When you are obedient and follow the rules you get more freedom , people will  trust you more and they will see you as a responsible and dependable person . How good is it to imagine a place where you have freedom  and you can do many things because you are trusted that you wont make bad decisions .
I like to be a recognized as a mature responsible student in school and in my house as a responsible daughter to my parents . You will make good decisions if you are  obedient and follow good footsteps into doing the right thing .

Reflection : To see all these services for the students is amazing , there is so many great and helpful opportunists for students. All of these services provided are different  types of techniques and different types of subjects . Each and every one of these courses I am sure that they proved well educated and  motivating instructors . These services are provided for all students in LAUSD district , who ever needs help will certainly will receive help by reaching out to one of these services . There is no excuse for anyone to say they cant get any help or they don't  know how to do it . These services provide so much instruction and clear information . I will be looking into these services more often and suggesting it to many friends and family that have children .
