In order to live a peaceful successful life we need to make good decisions and say no bad things that can have a negative effect in our future. I have seen the good outcomes someone gets when they make good decisions and learn how to do what is right . It is not always easy to stay away from bad things because you just want to have fun. Even if your friends want to make bad decisions it does not mean you have to follow them. You will sooner or later end up regretting the decisions you made in the past. Now is the time to think about what you want for your future. We determine what we want in life , many people pursue the american dream . Many people decide to do drugs and alcohol and those are the kind of people who will not succeed.  While you're still alive it’s never too late to turn around and start doing goood . The time is  now and we need to take advantage of that.

             The Neurosurgeon

Duties and Responsibilities: Medical specialists treat injuries, diseases, and congenital disorders of the brain and the spinal cord. They perform surgical procedures to treat and heal different types of conditions. Their duty is to remain calm at all times under any circumstances. They must be focused and must be available to to work very often for emergency care needs.

Salary : 240,440 annually

Education: The requirements are a year of chemistry, a year of organic chemistry , a year of biology , a year of physics, a year of english , and a year of calculus . Attend a U.S medical school

Demand of this profession : Must take the United States Medical Licensing Examination

Reflection : Honestly I would not like to be a neurosurgeon , the reason for that is because I already know I want to major in design and art. A neurosurgeon is a very delicate career because you could either save a person or  you could kill them. This is a very interesting career but I want to major in design for four years in a university.

                                                 Military Careers

Duties and Responsibilities : The responsibilities of these military branches are very complex. There are enlisted personnel and officers. The duties of a enlisted personnel is to participate in or support combat and other military operations such as humanitarian or disaster relief . They also operate , maintain and repair equipment, Perform technical and support activities etc.. The job of Officers is to plan, organize and lead troops and activities in military operations, manage enlisted personnel, operate and command air craft, ships, or armored vehicles.

Salary:  94,761

Education : You have to have a high school diploma , candidates  can also enlist with a GED

Demand for this particular career : Must be in good shape and health     

  

Reflection : I find all these military branches to be very interesting. The one that I would like the most to be in if I had to choose it would have to be the Army. The reason for that is because I find Airborne school to be a good job. I have many friends who are already in either the Army, Navy, or they are in the marines. It is a hard job to get into because you have a lot of training and duties to complete. I enjoyed researching about the military and I have great respect for those who are in it.

This quote is saying that it does not matter if we are alone what matters is that we are doing the right thing. It is better to be alone than to  accompany the wrong people. I have seen good people change the way they are because of the influence that others have towards them.  If they ask you to hang out with them and you already know they are going to make bad decisions it is better if you simply say you are busy and instead stay home watch a movie and do what you like. It is hard to make these decisions sometimes but in the future the consequences will be much more harder to face. Save yourself the trouble of being bad and instead reach for higher education. Studying and doing the right thing will lead you to success in life. Even if people talk bad about you or say things to you the best thing to do is to talk to someone about it. In the end those people will see how great you have succeeded because you chose the right and all the hard work and dedication will pay off in the end.

                  President’s Day       

Presidents Day is an American Holiday celebrated on the third Monday in February. President's Day honors George Washington who was our first president and all of the other United States presidents. Washington’s Birthday is also known as president's day. Washington is seen as the father of the United States and is probably the best known American politician ever. When George Washington had died they did not create presidents day an official holiday until 1879. The way we can show honor and respect on presidents day is let people know what is the truth about presidents day and what are all the hard challenges these presidents had to overcome.The way I would show respect and honor on presidents day is to share with people the information I know about presidents day. This celebration is to honor all the president and I think it is a nice way to honor all these hard working presidents

This quote is telling us that you  will not get anywhere in life if you do not set goals for yourself. Many people have many goals in life but others are not sure of what they want for themselves. You are able to go somewhere in life but you will go farther than those who do not have any goals.I have many goals that I have set for myself and I do plan to accomplish every single one of them . It is easier to have a perspective of how far you are willing to get my setting goals for yourself. When you set goals for yourself it means you want to get to high places. I have many goals and I can still think of many more. It feels good to look at all your goals and see that all your hard work is paying off because you are working up to accomplishing those goals . Little by little you will go accomplishing your goals and your going to feel good about yourself and you are going to be proud of how far you have gotten. One of my goals is to become a successful fashion designer that has the talent to create different types of styles for different types of people  .

               Fashion Designer

Duties and responsibilities : Fashion designers create clothing accessories, and footwear. They often sketch designs and select fabrics and patterns, give instructions on how to make the products they designed.

Salary: 63,670

Education : Most fashion designers have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as design or fashion merchandising . Employers usually seek applicants with creativity. They must know how to work well with the production of clothing, accessories, and footwear.

Demand for this particular career : Must be able to work long hours to meet production deadlines or prepare for fashion shows.

     

Reflection : I can honestly say that the fashion industry has inspired me to become a fashion designer. I want to get into a university that has a high recommendation for the fashion design field. I know that if I work hard enough I can reach my goals and be where I want to be. I want to become a talented successful fashion designer and have the ability to create different styles of clothing for every ones taste of style.This is a tough career because many people are very competitive but I will not let that bring me down I will fight for what I want until I accomplish all my goals. One day I will look back at this and have a smile on my face when I am a fashion designer .

      This quote is a very interesting quote that has different meanings. The way I interpreted it is you can’t live your life the right way if you are choosing to make bad decisions. I honestly believe anybody can live a peaceful and happy life if they only chose what is right. A way you can choose the right thing to do is by doing what makes you feel happy. There are many ways you can help others , they can ask others if they need anything etc…The way you know you are doing something bad is when after you finish doing it you feel guilty about the situation. It is best to always to be polite to others because you never know when you might need their help.There can come many situations when you might need help of those who you have helped . Once you learn to do the right thing it will not be so hard next time. Following the right path involves change in your mind and in your heart.

This quote is very inspiring the reason for that is  because I believe the harder you work the more successful you will be. By doing good in school and trying your hardest you are already on a path towards success. It is important to not take your education for granted because your education will determine your future. Dr Ben Carson was raised by a mother that was determined for her kids to proser. Many kids take for granted the fact that they are in school . There are many kids who would do anything just to receive a good education. When getting educated you will learn things that will benefit you greatly in the present and in the future. We must all be determined that one day we can accomplish great things with hard work and dedication .
