1. Treat the Earth and all that dwell thereon with respect.

These 10 Indian Commandments are well explained and have a great understanding and significance. The commandments that these Indians are living off of is a good way of living. The reason for that is because they make good wise decisions. For example their first commandment states treat the things on earth with respect , that is a very important quote because you are supposed to be taking care of the things in this earth for example nature and the animals on this earth. The third commandment is my favorite commandment the reason for that is because you are supposed to treat yourself and those around you with respect.

                                            Alexander Hamilton

This quote by Alexander Hamilton is  a very inspiring quote the reason for that is because you should never break a promise. Once you break a person's promise they will not be able to rely on you again. They will have doubts when you say you are going to commit to something. If you make a promise it is always best to keep that promise so that people will be able to trust when you say something you are going to do. When I  make a promise I make sure I commit to it so that I will be seen as a dependable person. Some people see a promise as nothing important but in reality it is very important that you do not break a promise that you make. For example if you tell a teacher you will show up and you don't then the teacher will see how they can’t  depend on you. This quote has changed my perspective of the way I think of promises.

          Orthopedic Surgeon

Duties and responsibilities :

         These surgeons focus on the skeleton and muscles and also specialize in certain parts of the body. Orthopedic surgeons are medical doctors who specialize in treating the musculoskeletal system; they may specialize in areas such as sports medicine or hand surgery. The orthopedic surgery career path requires 8-9 years of post-baccalaureate education, along with continued maintenance of board certification.

Salary : 4247,520 a year  for all surgeons

Education : The first step you must take is to get a bachelor's degree. The  undergraduate coursework should include topics in biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology and physics

Demand or need for this profession : Medical degree, Doctoral degree

Reflection : This is an interesting career but I would not like to major in this career the reason for that is because I want to study in the criminology field as well as the art and design field. This career takes many years of education , the pay is good too.

This quote by Theodore Hesburgh is very inspiring the reason for that is because  when you are making decisions you need to make good ones. Everytime I make decisions I think about them and see how they are going to have an effect in my life. It is always best to make good decisions because you will end up regretting your bad decisions. Never forget that bad decisions have serious consequences in your life.

    Optometry Technician

                                                         

Duties and responsibilities : Optometric technicians work with optometrists to assist in carrying out eye examinations and treatments. An optometric technicians work responsibilities include testing patients' visual acuity, depth perception, pressure inside of the eye, color vision and pupil reflexes.They also prepare exam schedules, ready exam rooms, assist in making or repairing eyeglasses, clean ocular equipment etc..

Education : Required to atleast have a high school diploma ,  2 year associate's degree,

Demand for  this profession : You must have a good rapport with patients, must be able to communicate effectively with superiors and be precise at work, math and physics skills, and ability to work and communicate with the team

Reflection : In my opinion I would not like to be an optometry because I want to major in criminology . This career is an interesting career but it is not for me .

This quote has made an impact in my life and the decisions that I make. The reason for that is because when you do right you will be successful it does not matter if you win or lose. When you are with your friends and decide they decide to make wrong decisions it is best to simply apart yourself from them and if you want to help them then do so just as long as you are being careful. The reason that so many people get influenced by others is because those people decide to be followers rather than be leaders. Choosing the right not only brings peace to your life it also brings assurance in yourself. I choose to make right decisions not only for my myself right now but also because I know the decisions I make now will have an impact on my future as well. It is not always going to be easy to make right decisions and walk on the right path but you have to sacrifice things right now to get to where you want to be in the future. Work your hardest and do not let anything or anyone put you down of who you want to become. There is no difference between a successful person and others the only difference is that those successful people are willing to sacrifice their time and are willing to put time and dedication into what they aspire to be. A person who chooses the right is responsible, respectful, kind, productive, hardworking, and is ambitious to reach their goals.

They also perform vision tests and analyze results, provide treatments such as vision therapy or low vision rehabilitation, provide pre post operative care to patients undergoing eye surgery.

Education required : Optometrists need a Doctor of Optometry degree, applicants must have completed 3 years of post secondary education which would include coursework in biology, chemistry , physics, math and english. Must have a bachelor’s degree before enrolling in a doctor optometrist program.

Demand or need of profession: must have a O.D. from an accredited optometry school and must complete all the sections of National Board of examiners.

Reflection:  I would not like to study this career because I want to be a fashion designer and that is my passion.

This statement has a deep true meaning , the meaning of this quote is it does not matter if you have advanced knowledge , if your character is wrong then your intellect means nothing. In order for you to be an outstanding person you need to focus on the kind of character you have. There are many reasons why no matter how smart you are you end up ruining great opportunities and chances because of the type of character you hold. It is always important to have a good character with those around you because the type of character you send out is the way people will want to treat you. I have experienced a time in which a student wanted to work part time in a job , he was very smart he knew math very well and also did very good in English. The problem was he had a nasty character he would always like to talk back and he could not control his temper most of the time. He ended up ruining everything he had just because of his bad conduct of character. If you try your hardest to have a good character with yourself and with the people around you , you will make the difference in your life and may even change the lives of those around you in a positive way. I try my hardest everyday to have a good character for those around me , The reason I do it is so that I can have a better life for myself .
