This statement by Joseph B Wirthlin is a very true statement and is very self explanatory . The reason for that is because when you are kind to others it shows your have a great amount of respect for yourself and for those around you . Kindness shows you were raised with manners and it show a lot about who you are . The way you show others who you are is by the way you act and by the way you approach others . Many people notice that people who are rude were not raised with good enough manners and grew up in an unstable home . In my opinion when you are kind to others they are kind to you . It is important to know the way you treat others is the same way they are going to treat you .

                        Thanksgiving Week

I really enjoyed my thanksgiving break it was  fun and I did many things . It was a relief not having to wake up so early for school and I was able to be in bed as long as I wanted to . This week was a great week I spend a lot of my time with my loved ones and I thank God for giving me that opportunity . The friday we were in school before our thanksgiving break started I went to see the JV and Varsity soccer game with a couple of my friends . I was able to go to and see some old friends from my old school and was reunited with them . I spent my thanksgiving break with my family and I helped my mom make the food and we had a wonderful time together . My sister came over from vegas and e got to spend time with her on thanksgiving . I am very thankful for my family and for an opportunity of spending quality time with them and know they can help me when I am in need of help . My uncle took my brother , my sister and me to see the laker vs the chicago bulls at staples center . We got food and then when off to see the game at 6 . I was able to go Black friday shopping and got some things I have been wanting to get . I also helped my mom around the house with chores and finished some of my thanksgiving break homework . I also went over to a friends house and got some of my math homework done at her house that was difficult for me to complete . Overall I had an amazing thanksgiving break and was glad we had the chance to take a break off from school and have some time for ourselves .

This statement by William is very Implicit . The reason for that is because he is saying the way you behave or the way you express yourself says a lot about what kind of person you are . In my opinion the way a person acts speaks a lot about the kind of people they are . The people who have a disrespectful behavior shows they were not raised with proper manners in their household . People who want respect should give respect , the way you want to be treated is the way you should treat others . I can honestly say that I was raised with manners and treat not just my elders with respect but everyone who I associate with in general . For example if their is a teacher speaking and a student decides to cut her off and talk over him/her that is rude and disrespectful . An example of good manners would always be remembering to say “please” and “thank you “ . My parents raised me with manners and thanks to that I know how to treat others and show that I have manners . If you want people to look at you and see that you have manners you need to treat them with respect . Not just in certain occasions but apply it and use it in your everyday life  . A person with great manners is a great person and a person with no manners is a disrespectful person . If you see someone who does not have manners teach them what you know and show them how to be a proper person with good manners . It’s not just about speaking correctly but it is about the reputation you set upon yourself.

This statement by Marcus Aurelius means if you are going to do something you know or feel is not right it is better to stop and walk away from it . If you are going to say something that is a lie it is better to stop and say the truth . After on lie comes another and another and it does not change unless the truth is spoken out . It is best to keep your distance from all the  negative things that are coming into your life . Choosing the right thing to do will get you to many places and you will benefit from it. For example if someone is trying to get you to do something you know is bad whether it is drugs, stealing , vandalizing etc . You need to learn how to say no and stay as far away from it as possible . Making bad choices leads to bad actions and that will only bring your life trouble and you will start to notice all the negative in your life . Follow those who bring peace and guidance in you life because those are the people that are going to help you be a successful person . Keep this statement by Marcus Aurelius in mind and never forget what a powerful message this brings to us .

                     Thanksgiving day

Thanksgiving is a wonderful holiday to spend time with your family . The first thanksgivings was first started in England with the pilgrims . This happened when a ship named the Mayflower left Plymouth England . These passengers were seeking a new home after many days of searching they dropped anchor at Massachusetts Bay . After long suffering due to the lack of resources a Abenaki Indian greeted them to English . The indians helped them and taught them many things . After the Pilgrims first corn harvest resulted successfully they organized a feast . Then in 1789 George Washington issued the first Thanksgiving by the national government of the United States . New York became one of the first of the several states to officially adopt this holiday as an annual thanksgiving holiday . The american tradition now is to make a wide variety of meals and spend time with your loved ones .

This statement means it does not matter if you win or lose if you played honorably . What matters is your actions that you make . In my opinion it is important to always complete your work honestly . I have done many things and they would include being honest and responsible . In order to obtain a good name for yourself is by doing the right thing . It is always best to chose the right thing to do instead of making bad decisions and ending up in a lot of trouble . Even if you lose and think you failed think of the good that you did instead of focusing on the negative . If you tried your hardest and played fairly who won should not matter there is always second chances .  It is always best to look at yourself and be proud of who you are . Remember that anyone can do great things it just takes a person who is determined and who has faith in themselves . Greatness comes in those who try and set their mind for something great. There is not doubt in my mind that anyone can do great things .

Veterans Day

Veterans Day is a anniversary holiday at the end of world war one , honoring U.S veterans who have fought in all wars

Veterans Day is November 11

The purpose of veterans day is it gives america the opportunity to celebrate the bravery and sacrifice of all U.S veterans

It is important to show honor on Veterans Day because it shows respect for those U.S veterans who have sacrificed and fought for us to live in freedom. Those veterans need to be recognized for their bravery .

We can show honor and respect to those U.S veterans by saying thank you if we see a veteran ,  salute soldiers if you see them

    

Veterans is important to me because it shows respect for those who have served in the armed forces . I have great respect for those who have fought for our country and who have lost it all to give america its all. This day is  a day to show appreciation and gratitude for our active U.S veterans and our retired U.S veterans . If i see a U.S veteran i will make sure to give him/her a proper salute and thank them for their service to our country .

This statement means  you should be responsible for your actions because the only one who made you do it was yourself . We chose are own actions and we are the only ones held for our actions . 

It is important to chose our who we associate with wisely because if we are hanging around the wrong people and you chose to do the same bad things they are doing we will not be able to excuse ourselves because we make decisions for ourselves. If you end up in a situation when you are with your friends and they all decide to make bad actions you will have to learn how to say no . Staying out of trouble means more privileges for yourself . In my opinion I chose to stay out of trouble because I do not want to get my freedom taken away . This is a very important statement to remember when you try to excuse yourself from your bad actions . This statement applies to anyone who has or plans to excuse themselves . I agree with this quote and has a great message to those who will learn from it .

These are three very important things to apply in your everyday life , The reason these are very important to remember is because there is always going to be temptation in our surroundings and we need to learn how to confront it so we don't make  wrong decisions . For all our actions we will either get a positive outcome or we will get a negative one . When we are making these kinds of decisions we can have a good outcome or a negative one . It is always best to stay out of trouble that way you can obtain your freedom . It is bad to consume drugs and alcohol sooner or later you will end up regretting it .  Save yourself all the trouble and learn how to respond to these bad temptations . Even if everyone is around you doing the wrong thing you must stand up for what is right even if everyone is against the right thing . The friends that encourage you to make wrong decisions are not your friends . The real friends are those who motivate you to become a successful person , those  who strive you to do better …

This is a very clear stated passage of text that is being given to us . What this passage means to me is to choose who your friends are very carefully . There are just as many good people as their are bad people , the good people will seek success and the bad people will already have set up their own failure. You need to stay away from those doing wrong because eventually they will influence you and can even peer pressure you to do something you do not  want to do .  I can honestly say this is a very well said text , it tells us what we are and what we become once we chose our friends . The friends looking to succeed will help you get to far places unlike the bad friends who will bring you  down with them . An example of this would be Friday after school your friends invite you to a party and you know there will be drugs and alcohol and you still decided to go because your friends kept telling you to go . Those friends will end up telling you to try drugs an alcohol at the party . It can be very dangerous what you consume at this party because you do not know how it will affect you but you say yes and do it anyway . Those kinds of people do not deserve to be your friends if the only thing they are doing is digging up our own grave . However if you chose the good people who choose the right thing they will help you succeed and get to successful places . The good will always be good and the bad will always be bad , it is always good to chose what you know is beneficial and right .

If you don't like the way you are living and maybe want to change do it for the good . It is never to late or something who wants to change in order to become a good person and make good decisions. Recreation is not only for some people it is for everyone therefore it is good to make a change in your life style.There is a lot of privileges and benefits when you chose to do the right thing and change . As i read this quote I think of how i have applied this to my life and my decisions .
