“When you tell a lie it leads to another “.

Honestly this statement is very true , it applies to many of our lives because it explains the consequences of lying and what it leads to . Many people are confident they can get away with any lie , some people are able to  but some are not. Sooner or later lies catch up to you and the only person it affects is you because it makes you look dishonest. The moment people see that you are a liar they soon start to realize you can't be trusted. It is a horrible feeling when people don’t trust you because it makes you feel like you are not important . What a great feeling you get when people look at you and think what an honest person he/she is . Nobody wants a bad name upon them because that sets you up for a bad reputation . In my opinion I like when people look at me and tell me that I am a honest person because it makes me feel better about myself . At the end of the day a lie leads to another and you are going to keep lying over and over . Just be honest and don’t live in a world where you are afraid and worried when you lie . When you lie you close the door of all good in your life.

    “  The sting of the scorpion “

In many occasions I have experienced the “The sting of the scorpion “ The reference of this is when you suffer the consequences because you chose to disobey the rules . Having your items and freedom taken for you is a bad experience and It doesn't feel good when all the privileges are being taken from you . There is a boy named Elder Patrick , his family when on a camping trip to the dessert. The boy’s parents told him he was not allowed to walk barefoot outside but he refused and because of his laziness he decides just to wear sandals . He leaves the campground wearing sandals and as he is wondering offa  scorpion stings his foot . He can't bear the pain so he starts to scream as he cries out for help . His parents rushed towards him and put him in a car . They soon had to drive to the nearest hospital which was two hours away . Patrick suffered the consequences because he disobeyed his parents when they said to not walk barefoot . When your parents tell you to not do something it is not because they want to bother you it is because they most likely have gone through it or they just know better . When my parents tell me to do something I do it because they know what is best for me and all they want to do is see me succeed . As a teenager I know I can make mistakes because I’m human and everyone makes mistakes. I often try to take the advice that my parents give me because most of the time they are right .

This statement has a straight forward message , it means you need to chose what is right every time you are making a decision. When you make good decisions not only do they bring peace you also feel relaxed . When you are choosing to make good decisions you will be greatly benefited from it because you chose to do what is best. Some examples of choosing the right thing to do is if you see a kid that needs help with there books you can choose the right thing to do and you can help him with his books . Even if you see someone that you can help you can always ask " Would you like some help " if they don't need it they wil just simply say no , they will appreciate that you wanted to help . When you are to others they will respect you and have good thoughts about you. in my opinion when I choose to make good decisions I feel good about myself knowing that am a help to others around me .

           “It’s better to be alone than to be in bad company “. -

This is a very true statement and it means It is better to be alone and doing the right thing than be with a group of people doing the wrong thing . You are better off hanging out with people who show you how to be a better person and know how to choose the right thing .  If you choose to be around those who do the wrong thing and don’t  know how to make right decisions then you are better off by yourself . It is not a sad thing if you are alone in certain times because you are trying to stay out of trouble , you are the one who is doing the right thing and how will be benefiting from it . When I am around my friends I stay out of trouble because trouble only brings me problems and I like to be relaxed . For example if there is a group of kids who are encouraging another kid to consume an alcoholic beverage the kid simply needs to say no thank you and walk away. Many times we often call the people we associate with “friends” but real friends want to see you succeed and see you doing the right thing , they will get you out of trouble when they see you doing the wrong thing . Staying home and staying out of trouble is better than going out to a party where you know there is going to be temptations .

               “ World War II ”

World War 2 started in the years 1939-1945 . The locations  that  were involved in this war was  Europe , Pacific , Atlantic , Southeast Asia , China , Middle East , Mediterranean , and Northern Africa . Some of the events that occurred in world war 2 is Italy under the leadership of Prime Minister Minister Benito Mussolini invades Ethiopia , President Franklin D Roosevelt signs the 1937 Neutrality Act  , Franklin D Roosevelt forbids U.S ships from carrying arms to China or Japan , Japanese war planes dive bomb the american boat “Panay” in the Yangtze River . Many frightening events occurred in World War 2 , there are many ways we can show respect and honor to these events that fought in World War 2. The way we can show these veterans respect is to salute them and thank them for their service to our country .

"If the answers to these questions are YES , there is no way you can fail ." 

1.  I can honestly say I know people can trust me because I know every time I have a challenge or a difficulty I know I can get out of it by choosing the right thing to do 
2.  I am committed to do my very best because I want to see good results in myself and in my work. I try my ultimate best until I accomplish my goals 
3. I do treat people the way I want to be treated because I treat others the way they treat me . If I show respect I like to be given respect . I give others what I want to be given in return 

Those would be my answers if I was asked this question in an occasions . These questions are very good questions and get you to think about your actions and the way other people see what you do . Always choosing the right thing in all occasions because doing the right is key to success. These questions are very important to remember and they are good questions to ask yourself when your having doubts or are confused about doing the right thing . This statement is a very good statement and I will look back at the questions often to see where I stand in terms of right and wrong .

        Challenges Teens Face Today

1. Several of the challenges teenagers face today would be bullying , drugs, gangs , alcohol  , poverty , getting in trouble.
2. One of the major challenges for me is to not procrastinate when I know I have to do something . To improve this I will not save anything for later I will do what I have to do and as fast as possible to get finished.
3. The way CTR  helps me when I need to overcome challenges is I remember that choosing the right leads to benefit and privileges when It comes to doing the right thing.
4. The way I can help teens overcome challenges is by offering a helping hand to them . I can also sit down and talk to them and try to get reasoning with them . If I can't do anything I can always consult anyone who I know can help in this situation .

                        

Reflection : Teenagers face many problems whether it is in school , house , or outside . There are many ways to help those teens who need help and there are many options . I am a teen and at time I do face hard challenges but I have learned to overcome them . The way I know what to do is by what I know is the right thing to do .

Physical Fitness

This statement by John F Kennedy is a very true statement the reason for that is because he is explaining any one can accomplish great things when your a healthy and determined . A person who has an unclean heart because of drugs and other unhealthy substances will not succeed . The person that will succeed is the person who stays away from the unclean things and maintains a healthy life style not just mentally but in everything they do . I agree with this statement because it applies to every single individual . Instead of learning bad things it is better to learn skills and be productive throughout the day finding new ways to be helpful either to your family or society .

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and responsibilities : Medical librarians direct and work with patient health care and help physicians and professionals research to stay in tact with the developments in their speciality areas . They also work with patients and consumers who need assistance of health information . They teach health care providers how to access and evaluate information .

Salary : 65,000

Education : An undergraduate degree , Undergraduate courses of biology , medical sciences and medical technology , PHD , any secondary degrees , business and management degree

Demand for this profession : Must have a master of library and information science with an ALA  program

Reflection : In my opinion I think this is an interesting career but I want to major in the criminology field and that is what I want to study .
