A dentist is a qualified person who treats the oral health. They run tests and treat diseases and conditions that affect the teeth and gums . They will often diagnose oral conditions. A Dentist takes care of the health of their patients and fixes or performs  surgeries if needed.

Duties and Responsibilities : A few of the Dentist responsibilities would be to remove decay from teeth and  fill cavities .  Repair cracked or fractured teeth and often remove teeth . Exam X rays of the teeth ,gums , and jaw . Perform corrective surgery on gums and performing surgery on gums and supporting bones to treat gum disease .

Education : Complete a bachelor's degree , Get a good score on the dental acceptance test , Complete a doctoral degree , Undertake requirements for licensure .

Demand for this profession : Doctoral or Professional Degree  

Reflection : After researching and learning more about the Dentistry . Being a dentist has its Pros and Cons , it can be really fun to work in this career but there is a lot of benefits and responsibilities . A dentist can be really hard but it has its advantages . I know a lot of people who want to study this career . In my opinion , I think this career is interesting but I want to study in the criminology field .
