This statement by George Chapman is an inspiring statement because it is true that only the people who are great are good . The people who speak bad language,lie,steal, or cheat are not good. Those are the kind of people that will not let you reach success. The people who strive you to do better are the ones you should keep close to you because those are true friends. Not everyone you associate with are good people . For example if you meet a classmate and you both end up being really good best friends and he influences you to do the wrong then he/she ar not good friends. The real friends are the ones who will encourage you to do better and want to see you succeed in life. I honestly try to talk to my friends and tell them that they can be whatever they want to be that nothing is impossible and I know that has influenced their lives. It is never too late to change bad habits , it is  never too late to turn the other way and say I want a better life for myself. Nothing good in life comes easy you need to work for what you want and live up to  your dreams .
